Disgraced Democrat Judge KP George has been charged with money laundering, leading to a significant public outcry. George, who is no stranger to controversy, has also been indicted in a case where he intentionally fabricated racist criticism of his actions to elicit public sympathy.
For context, Democratic judges have frequently made headlines since Donald Trump secured the 2024 election. Notorious judges, such as James Boasberg, have utilized their authority to halt the Trump administration’s mass deportations and challenge the president’s power, prompting many to question the need for judicial reform.
In any event, KP George was arrested prior to an April 2025 Fort Bend County Commissioners Court meeting. Almost immediately, the disgraced judge took a defensive stance. He asserted, “(T)here is nothing illegal about loaning personal funds to my own campaign and later repaying that loan. This is a standard and lawful practice.”
Continuing with his unfounded claims, he characterized the charges as politically motivated attacks. George stated, “Allegations and accusations are being made without full context or disclosure of the facts—deliberately manipulating the narrative to tarnish my reputation and character.” Supporting his client’s unfounded claims, Jared Woodfill, his attorney, criticized George’s detractors. He asserted, “It wasn’t about truth, it wasn’t about justice, it’s about getting a headline.”
Highlighting the judge’s controversial history, prominent conservative influencer Kenny Webster condemned the corrupt official. Weber was alluding to a recent indictment when KP George faced a misdemeanor charge for misrepresentation of identity. He is accused of conspiring to fabricate a false racist backlash against his campaign on social media.

A prosecutor remarked, “The District Attorney’s Office has consistently indicated that the investigation was ongoing, and that inquiry has now resulted in two 3rd-degree felony indictments for Money Laundering, which were disclosed today.”
Concluding their statement, the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office stated, “These charges are not related to the pending misdemeanor and are assigned to the 458th District Court. Our office is dedicated to upholding the integrity that the public deserves, as well as the ethical standards to which all prosecutors are bound. Furthermore, our investigation continues.”
In the comments section beneath Webster’s post, conservatives criticized the allegedly corrupt judge.
