A Reddit user sought advice from others on the platform regarding how to manage her situation after discovering her husband in another woman’s videos while scrolling through social media.

The wife ultimately learned that her husband had been in a committed relationship with this woman for a couple of years and found out they were planning to have a baby together. She was devastated and perplexed.

The woman had been holding onto this information for two weeks, unable to determine her next steps. When she posted on Reddit seeking guidance, she still had no clarity on how to move forward.

How Did the Wife Uncover Her Husband’s Infidelity?
A week prior to her post, the woman was scrolling through TikTok when she stumbled upon an account belonging to a woman sharing recipes. As she watched, she noticed that the man featured in the background of the videos bore a striking resemblance to her husband.

Initially, the wife recognized the man’s back and immediately identified every detail of her husband, confirming it was indeed him. She then proceeded to watch numerous other videos on the page to verify her suspicions and observed him while he was at home with her.

The wife noted her husband behaving normally but realized he had become adept at concealing his mistress from her. She also recognized that each time her husband went on a work trip, the other woman would post a TikTok video claiming she was trying a new recipe because her man was returning from a work trip.

As the wife viewed the other woman’s videos preparing meals for her husband, she recognized his hands and the “peculiar” manner in which he held his cutlery. She was incredulous that her husband had maintained this deception for three years.

Prior to uncovering the affair, the wife and her husband enjoyed a remarkable relationship. They had been married for more than twenty years and maintained a robust physical connection. Together, they raised two children and navigated the loss of their son a decade ago, an experience that the woman believed strengthened their bond.

“I cannot comprehend how he managed to initiate an entire relationship on the side. I was under the impression that we were content,” the wife expressed, contemplating her 21-year marriage.

Despite seeking counsel from others on social media, she mentioned feeling disoriented. She nearly caused a fire in her kitchen because she lost track of her cooking while preoccupied with her thoughts about the situation and her husband’s hidden “second family.”

What Actions Did the Wife Take for Revenge?
The wife received numerous replies to her post, some offering advice while others expressed sympathy. Subsequently, she provided an update to those interested in her predicament regarding her course of action.

Initially, she engaged a divorce attorney who recommended that she refrain from informing her husband that she was aware of his infidelity. When the time was appropriate, she confronted him, but he denied all allegations, even after she presented him with social media posts and photographs obtained by a private investigator. He went so far as to label her as delusional.
