Carrie Underwood candidly discussed her challenges with faith after experiencing three miscarriages. During her fourth pregnancy, following the birth of her son Isaiah, who is now five years old, she was apprehensive about carrying the baby to term once more.
In the second episode of Mike And Carrie: God & Country, she revealed that she had reached her limit and felt guilty for her anger towards God. “I had an honest conversation with God, and I expressed my feelings to Him. I was hurt. I was somewhat angry, and naturally, you feel guilty for being upset with your creator,” she shared, her voice filled with emotion.
Carrie conveyed her need for clarity, stating to God, “We required a decision. We needed to know whether we were going to have a baby or not, as I could no longer continue on that path.”
Fortunately, her anxieties were misplaced, and she welcomed her son Jacob into the world in January 2019.
