Her mother, Kylie Perez, shared an emotional farewell on Facebook, expressing her grief and anger towards Davis for taking away her daughter.
Davis initially faced charges of first-degree domestic battery, but after Ava’s death, the charge was upgraded to first-degree murder. He was held on a $1 million bond. Ava’s family, in their grief, chose to donate her organs to help others in need. A funeral for Ava will be held on March 13, 2025.
