Donald Trump has proved himself to be the ultimate doting grandfather as he revealed today that he bought 17-year-old granddaughter Kai Trump a Tesla Cybertruck.
He revealed the gift on Tuesday, as Tesla delivered five cars to him on the South Lawn of the White House.
This came after he expressed on Truth Social Monday that he was looking to buy one in support of his Senior Advisor, Elon Musk, who is the founder of the company.
And, it looked like he followed through on his promise as he looked at the vehicles the very next day.
While taking questions on the South Lawn, the President revealed that he wasn’t the only in the Trump family who has a Tesla.
‘I bought for a very special young woman, you know, I’m sure you’ve never heard of her, Kai,’ he said of his granddaughter.
‘She’s a great golfer and she puts the clubs in the back, and I guess it’s a very safe deal, she loves it,’ he continued.
Currently, a Tesla Cybertruck starts at $81,985, and goes all the way up to $101,985, per Car and Driver.

President Trump admitted that he had bought the car around a year ago, and that it was really a hit with the future University of Miami golfer.
‘She loves it, and it’s very safe, it’s very strong, heavy, it’s all steel, stainless steel,’ Trump continued about the car.
Not only can the car fit Kai’s golf clubs, but it can also seat five people, including the driver, and is designed to be the ‘safest truck’ on the road.
In October, Kai even posed with her silver Cybertruck before she was heading off to her homecoming dance at school.
The teen rocked a patterned magenta dress with sequined detailing and diamond-studded heels, and wore her hair straightened with a middle part.
She posted an array of photos on her Instagram page at the time, even posing in the driver’s seat for one of them.

The clip was taken a few days after he had won – filmed in her car, no less.
‘We didn’t really get to film the end because he won and we were just celebrating with family,’ she said.
‘It was just a really special moment for all of us. I’m extremely proud of him, I think he deserves it more than anyone in the whole world.
‘He really has worked his butt off every single day for the past eight years for this country.’
Kai admitted that she broke down in ‘tears’ after she found out he had won Pennsylvania – a big swing state that ultimately helped him get enough electoral votes.
‘The election night was really special for our whole family because we fought to the very end,’ she added. ‘He really deserves it after what everyone has put him through.
‘After he started winning Pennsylvania I just started tearing up knowing he made it and he finally fought back and won.’
Kai called her grandfather ‘such an incredible and unique person’ who ‘fights every single day for America.’
‘He really just doesn’t take any breaks, doesn’t do anything besides work,’ she concluded.
